Ah the sun, that beautiful, wonderful ball of hot gas and vapour that burns so brightly and warms us all with its radiant glow. Thank you sun! One member of the team who has recently returned from foreign lands where the sun is actually a permanent resident is our Head of Noise. Back in February Mike made the pilgrimage to Australia, not just an overspill for us Brits, but also a thriving culturally diverse metropolis whose lust for life is as infectious as it is boundless.
Melbourne, Sydney and Airlie Beach were stop offs during his 3 week trip, during which he’s seen ex pat and former Neighbourhood employee Phil, Harry Kewell (from a distance), baby penguins (from 10 metres), dolphins and baby tiger sharks, manta rays and turtles... and great icons of Sydney including ‘the iron lung’, the Opera House, and the Whitsundays. Along with some breathtaking scenery he’s met some wonderful people from all nationalities - Facebook friends for life! It can be said he’s had the trip of a lifetime. So much so that he’d quite like a Neighbourhood Sydney office!! (There’s already a neighbourhood hotel – no connection)
Even though technology can bring the world closer together it sometimes cannot beat the real life experience.
