Cubic Light Tree.

We admit it's a little selfish, but this year we thought we'd make something for ourselves for Christmas.

Inspired by our research and development into 3D projection mapping, we decided to put the theory into practice and turn our learnings into something special for the studio.

Introducing - The Cubic Light Tree.

With some clever geometric tomfoolery in our blacked out R&D grotto, we created a physical tree made from white boxes, that our designers could use to project their own animated creations back onto.

The idea is that everyone in the studio can get involved and 'hang' something on the tree.

We think the project may have a life beyond Christmas with plans bubbling away to turn it into an interactive musical instrument in 2012.
