Project Hightlights
Detail
The next generation of computer hardware is opening up creative opportunities to interact with many of the kinds of content we make.
Nintendo’s Wii controllers, PlayStation’s Move and Microsoft’s Kinect all invite the user to use their bodies as well as their eyes to engage in a more interactive experience.
This experiment of ours is a proof of concept exploring using the infrared signal on a Wii controller to track a users position to move within a 3D scene.
We are currently researching how this concept can be utilised for responsive interfaces for iPad applications, using face detection from the front facing camera.
