Project Hightlights

One St Peter's Square.

Detail

Despite the challenging economic climate over recent years, Manchester has continued to develop it’s appeal for commercial occupiers.

In part, this is happening through large scale development projects such as Spinningfields and the much heralded MediaCity UK, which is becoming home to the BBC and a wide range of media companies.

Property developers Argent have been active in the city for many years, and are now developing a prime site in the city core, to offer further options for corporations in the city.

As part of Argent’s highly targeted search for a pre-let tenant, our work looked to inspire potential occupiers, by communicating the unique qualities and opportunities that the unmistakably modernist building designed by Glenn Howells Architects will bring.

Manchester isn’t a city necessarily famed for ‘great views’, but the proposed building captures one of its best – overlooking St Peters Square. Some of Manchester’s most prized architectural gems including the Town Hall by Alfred Waterhouse, the Central Library, and Midland Hotel occupy the view from the building – each a listed building.

Our images looked to carefully frame the juxtaposition between heritage and modernity, and our film combined live action and CGI animation to bring to life the opportunity of ‘owning’ this great view and location in the city.

With professional services giant KPMG now signed-up to take the top three floors of the building, we’re really looking forward to seeing the building ‘for real’ with completion scheduled for 2014.
