Augmenting the world of the GDR Reader

Consumer trend forecasting and research consultancy GDR produce quarterly innovation reports that provide thought leadership and inspiration for brand managers and creatives the world over.

We designed an interactive illustrated cover for GDR Issue 46, which reports on male grooming trends for 2012/13. When readers view the cover through the freely available Layar app using their mobile phone or tablet device, related interactive content is overlaid on the screen as a stream of refreshable digital content, with links through to full articles and relevant websites.

The report cover experience is designed to bring physical readership closer to a digital world rich with related content.
