Christmas capers

A merry mural for Manchester

'Twas a month before Christmas, and all through the 'hood,
Spread a feeling of festive desire to do good.
So our elves got the paints out, and with grins ear-to-ear
They created a mural to spread Christmas cheer!

Our neighbourhood elves have been out and about in Manchester to sprinkle a little festive cheer and a dash of childhood nostalgia over the city.

This is our Christmas gift to the hometown and neighbours we love so well…

In turning our hands to a little street art, we have to thank Out House – a wonderful, local project that has been curating outdoor space for public art across Manchester since 2010.

Happy #NQXMas

You can find our festive 8-bit mural at the SubStation: a creative canvas in the heart of the Northern Quarter, on the corner of Tib Street and Thomas Street.

Join our campaign to spread Christmas cheer by tweeting us a photo under the mistletoe. Be sure to include #NQXmas, @neighbourhood and @OutHouseMCR so everyone can share in the Christmas love!

Here are just a few of the wonderful people who have joined in so far, from local businesses, friends and neighbours, to a young couple celebrating their engagement… magic!
