Premium CGIs for a premium development

Buckingham Green is a new, mixed-use development in the heart of London, with views over Westminster and Buckingham Palace. With three buildings combining commercial, retail and residential space, our job was to bring the development to life before it even existed.

Inspired by one of the greats

Anyone interested in architecture will have heard of Ludwig Mies van der Rohe. This German-American architect is considered one of the pioneers of the modernist movement. He also influenced the design of the existing building in our development - the central tower - which took inspiration from the architect’s iconic style.

So we did the same. For our series of CGIs, we took cues from Mies van der Rohe’s unique architectural approach. When it came to choosing camera angles, we favoured simple, one-point perspective shots and highlighted those elements reminiscent of Mies van der Rohe’s style, such as the impressive bookended marble in the building’s lobby area.

Setting the scene

For the commercial office space, we created images that showed how the space could be used, with premium furniture and light-flooded shots, showing the scale of the offices.

The residential apartments were a major part of Buckingham Green. We combined interior design and CGI, based on references from the team at London & Oriental, to evoke a sense of how the apartments could look and feel, as well as the impressive views they afforded over the London skyline.

We even went one step further and focused in on the detail, to really bring the space to life in a more intimate way.

“From the first meeting with The Neighbourhood it was clear that it had been a good decision to hire them. The team were immediately engaged and totally understood the brief. The final images were quite stunning and completely created the right image for our development. We have used the images across our marketing platform from brochure, website and the site hoarding. The feedback has been very positive. In short, we would 100% use them again.”
